"Bras For A Cause" Gala

The Lemon Street Studio would like to personally invite you to the opening preview and Gala night of “The Bras For A Cause, Art Stitching Lives Back Together” contest and silent auction. We have approximately 80 bras entered into the show and they come from local, out of town, and out of state artists. The "Art Bras" will be judged Friday afternoon by internationally known quilter, Joan Shay, and our very own Chairman of the Putnam County Board of Commissioners, Chip Laibl. The judging will consist of Best of Show, 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. Everyone will receive a ribbon for entering the show.

It has been an amazing adventure to see what all takes place when you do something for a good cause. The “Art Bra" show proceeds benefit the Florida Oncology Patient Assistance Foundation. The FOPAF is a resource for qualified patients diagnosed with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders, offering short term financial assistance by helping them with the hardships of their daily living expenses caused by the burden of medical cost while dealing with their disease.

The Gala is from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2010, at the historical Larimer Arts Center, 216 Reid St, Palatka, FL. There will be refreshments served and the silent auction of the "Art Bras" and several nice gift baskets will begin at 7:00 PM and end at 8:30 PM. Come join the fun and have a good time looking at “The Bras for a Cause”!!!
